Timing and Results

Chip timing will be used for the 5K and 10K races. Official results and awards will be based on your Chip Time (net time on the course). All runners must attach the timing chip to their shoe laces or they may not be timed and could be ineligible for any award. Results will be posted near the Finish Line and can be viewed at a later time at www.runladera.com.

Race Number and Timing Chip
Inside your Race Packet you should find your race number (bib) and timing chip.  Prior to the race start, attach the bib to the front of your shirt and secure the timing chip to your shoe laces. Runners crossing the start line or entering the finish area without the timing chip attached may not be timed and could be disqualified from receiving any award.  You must turn in the chip at the end of the race or you will be charged for a replacement.

The Start
All runners should be in the start area by 7:35am as the race will begin promptly at 7:45am.  Prior to the start, please attach your bib securely to the front of your shirt and the timing chip to your shoe. (And remember, no chip, no time.)  Runners should line up according to their anticipated pace. Strollers are welcome, but please try to stay to the side.

ROLLERBLADES, HEADPHONES, PETS AND BICYCLES ARE PROHIBITED.

The Course
The start and finish line is located on Avendale Boulevard between Sellas Road and Daisy Street. The participants will travel down Avendale and make a right on Daisy Street and then left onto Sienna Parkway for three blocks.  The participants will make a right onto O’Neill Drive and, after traveling three blocks, they will make another right at Dorrance Drive.  After coming down the hill, the participants will make a left onto Sienna Parkway and travel two blocks where they will travel around the roundabout at Windmill Avenue (making a u-turn) and continue back down Sienna Parkway for one more block.  Participants will make a left at Sellas Road North and then turn right onto Avendale Boulevard for the final stretch to the finish line.  For the 10K, participants will run the same course twice.

The Finish
Results will be posted near the finish line as available and will be updated continually.  After crossing the finish line, you must proceed directly to the timing chip collection area, remove your timing chip, and hand to one of the chip collectors. If you do not turn in your chip, you will be charged for a replacement.
